Dr. David F. LaPatka has been a Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon. He has performed thousands of surgical and non-surgical corrections of the skin, forehead, brow, eyelids, nose, cheeks, chin, and neck.
In addition to facial plastic surgery, Dr. David LaPatka is a highly qualified Reconstructive Head and Neck surgeon. Having earned a medical degree with honors from Creighton University, he went on to complete a residency at LaCrosse Lutheran Hospital at the Gunderson Clinic. Dr. LaPatka then served dual residencies at the University of California at Irvine, followed by a City of Hope National Medical Center fellowship. He holds board certifications from both the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. LaPatka is an active member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the California Medical Association and the Santa Barbara County Medical Society.
